A method of making personalized and fitting garments from standard partially stitched garment pieces comprising the steps of folding the main body part (B) exactly in half; putting the two halves of the shoulder piece exactly one on top of the other; keeping the main body part in folded condition, cutting to desired size the front armpit shoulder and rear armpit, as marked in the respective templates (2.01, 2.02, 2.05); trimming and shaping the sleeves (S) by cutting along the profile for the desired size as marked in templates (2.03, 2.04); joining the main body part (B) with the sleeves (S) with long stitch; stitching lower unstitched portion of the sleeves and the sides of the body, and stitching the bottom portion of the body part (B) after it has been cut to the desired length to make a finished shirt, characterized in that personalized and fitting garments can be made in any standard size or in-between size by this method.
