摘要
The invention relates to a soft iron-based magnetic alloy, of the type of Fe-Co alloy, meant to be used for making pieces employed in the electrical engineering industry and to a process for preparing the same. According to the invention, the alloy comprises 20...52% Co, 1.5...2% V, 0.5...1% Cr, Mn up to 0.5%, Si up to 0.7% and Fe for the remainder to 100%. The claimed process consists in making the alloy in an induction furnace, at a temperature of 1650+-20°C, under argon protection, casting in metal chills at 1600+-50°C, homogenizing in the furnace with flame at 1350+-20°C, hot plastic deformation by forging in the temperature range of 1350+-50°C...900+-50°C, at a total reduction degree of 82%, air cooling and final tempering thermal treatment at a temperature of 850+-10°C, in a H2 atmosphere.
