METHOD FOR COMBINED THERAPY OF PSYCHOPATHIC REACTIONS IN PATIENTS WITH DISSOCIAL PERSONALITY DISORDER WITH AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR

A method for the combined therapy of the psychopathic reactions in the patients with dissocial personality disorder with aggressive behavior comprises the use of the psychotropic drugs including Risset and the electrically induced sleep. Within the second week of the treatment, the oral Risset dose is increased from moderate to high level (with daily increment from 1.0 mg up to 8.0-10.0 mg). In 2 hours following the morning oral dose of Risset, the sleep is induced by electrical pulses applied to the postaural area with continuous increase of the current from 15 to 20 mA, the pulse rate from 5 to 120 Hz, pulse duration from 0.2 to 0.5 ms, the duration of the session from 25 to 75 min with 15 daily sessions per treatment course.
