A roller dumper for suppressing wire galloping in powerful overhead transmission lines comprises a lower support plate, a working body having a tooth working surface, a system for securing the lower support plate, the upper working surface of the lower support plate is performed horizontal and flat with two intermediated cylindrical bodies installed thereon, which are installed symmetrically relative to an insulator chain, each body has an axial hollow inside, a tooth profile outside and an axis perpendicular to longitudinal axis of the low support plate, and is fixed relative to two symmetrical supports made in the form of ears of frames rigidly connected relative to the lower support plate; in each ear bearings are pressed, in the axial hollow of each cylindrical body a resilient element and an axial rod are positioned, the axial rod has a thread on both sides for retaining nuts. On both sides the axial hollow of each cylinder is covered by corresponding end shoes having through axial holes for the axial rod; the length of each rod does not exceed the total length of the cylindrical body with end shoes. The working body is performed as an upper supporting plate of variable weight with two concave working recesses on the lower surface thereof having the tooth profile; the upper supporting plate on each longitudinal side has adjustable vertical side surfaces in the form of plates with L-shaped projection-limiter in the points contacting with the shoes faces; said plates have through inspection windows.
