METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF PROGRESSION OF OSTEOPOROSIS AFTER BONE FRACTURES

A method for prediction of osteoporosis progression after bone fracture comprises the radiography, determining homocysteine levels, total cholesterol and interleukin-6 (IL-6). At their values 20 µmol/l, 6.1 µmol/l and 7.5-9 ng/ml, respectively, possible progression of osteoporosis is prognosed.
