METHOD FOR FASHIONING GRAFT FOR ITS DESCENDING ONTO PERINEUM IN RECTAL RESECTION

A method for fashioning the graft for its descending onto perineum in rectal resection comprises the mobilization of the descending sigmoid colon and rectum to the muscles of the pelvic floor with the cut of superior rectal artery and sigmoid arteries, the mobilization of the splenic division of the colon, ligation of the inferior mesenteric vein with sparing the left colonic artery. Prior to mobilization of the intestinal divisions, paraaortal lymphodenectomy is performed with skeletonization of the lower mesenteric artery.
