METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF RISK OF POST-OPERATIVE WOUND COMPLICATIONS AFTER OPERATION ON LARGE BOWEL

A method for predicting the risk of postoperative wound complications after operations on the large bowel comprises the evaluation of risk of postoperative wound complications in preoperative and intraoperative stages in accordance with the total scoring of 5 parameters (obesity, intraoperative contamination of the 3-4 class, rating scale ASA III IV, laparotomic operation, urgency of intervention, each of which adds up to the rating scale 1 point): low (score 0 - 5%, 1 point - 12%), average (2 points - 18.7%, 3 points - 44%), high (4 points - 68%) and very high (5 points - 82 %) of the risk of postoperative wound complications.
