It exploits the use of nano-silver to be incorporated in the existing latex products, such as condoms in a novel way. This ingenious process allows nano-silver particles to be dispersed uniformly within the latex to form nano-silver composites where the antimicrobial region can constitute the entirety of the latex articles or evenly coated throughout the condoms, gloves and other latex products, so as to let nano-silver play its bactericidal role. This also combined uniquely a good mechanical strength with high elasticity and suppleness allowing us to make a very thin condom with much enhanced sensitivity. The manufacturing process for such latex products is also unique. It includes some important processes and is highly technical and different to that for natural latex condoms and gloves. This invention is also advantageous in that the nano-silver particles can also be incorporated in water-based or oil-based lubricants to form lubricants that have inherent property of imparting anti-microbial or odor free effects.Wigure 3(a)1
