The present invention concerns determination of risk for an early age of onset for Alzheimer's Disease in an individual. In specific embodiments, it concerns identification of copy number at chromosome 14ql l.2 or a region thereof and associating a high copy number with an earlier age of onset of Alzheimer's Disease.
