SUSTAINABLE, INTEGRATED SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING WASTE FROM A FOOD‑INDUSTRY CHAIN AND PROCESS APPLIED TO THE SUSTAINABLE SYSTEM

A sustainable, integrated system for processing waste from a food‑industry chain is described, which is composed of units for collection of waste, for primary treatment (3), for water purification (4), for biodigestion (5) and for heat and power generation (6). Use of said units makes it possible for only a small amount of external water to be consumed by the present system and, furthermore, thermal and electrical energy to be generated that is consumed by the industry itself, thereby minimizing the environmental impact within the food‑production chain. Furthermore, the invention comprises a process applied to said sustainable system.
