The present invention relates to a music playing apparatus. The music playing apparatus comprises: a chair; a signal converter disposed on the chair, receiving and filtering a relayed sound wave signal, and letting through only the sound waves having the applicable frequencies to output a signal; a string portion connected to the signal converter and moved in X-axis and Y-axis directions by means of the signal output from the signal converter in order to represent the musical scale corresponding to the sound waves; and a flexible cover resiliently covering the outside of the string portion so as to contact the listener when the listener sits in the chair and to transmit the moving sensation of the string portion.
