Evaporator (1) for process- and/or industrial wastewater comprises at least one riser pipe (2) and at least one downpipe (3). The riser pipe is connected with the downpipe through a first connecting element (4) in a base region. A heating device (5) is arranged in the riser pipe, with which the wastewater present in the riser pipe is heatable to a temperature above the boiling temperature of the water. The riser pipe is connected with the downpipe through a second connecting element, which is connected with a steam outlet, so that the steam eliminated from the wastewater is dischargeable. Evaporator (1) for process- and/or industrial wastewater comprises at least one riser pipe (2) and at least one downpipe (3). The riser pipe is connected with the downpipe through a first connecting element (4) in a base region. A heating device (5) is arranged in the riser pipe, with which the wastewater present in the riser pipe is heatable to a temperature above the boiling temperature of the water. The riser pipe is connected with the downpipe through a second connecting element, which is connected with a steam outlet, so that the steam eliminated from the wastewater is dischargeable. The non-evaporated wastewater is conductible to the downpipe through the second connecting element for circulation. An independent claim is also included for a device for processing process- and/or industrial wastewater, comprising a first evaporation device, using which the wastewater is evaporatable for obtaining a split oil, and the above evaporator for dewatering the split oil.
