The arrangement has terminals (A1,A2) which are connected with pressure medium sink (38) through the return lines (22,26). The valve groups (28,32,34,40) with several fluidically parallel arranged valves (48-62) for controlling the pressure medium flow, are provided in the feed lines (20,24) and return lines. A sensor (74) is provided for measuring the position actual value of the actuator (2). A control device (68) is provided to control effective flow cross-section of the valves in dependence upon control difference between actual position and predetermined position set point. An independent claim is included for method for controlling electro-hydraulic arrangement.
