PURPOSE: A device for operating a turbine generator in a steam power plant is provided to be operated without a noticeable decrease of power by controlling the pressure of steam and reheat steam according to pressure changes.;CONSTITUTION: A device for operating a turbine generator in a steam power plant comprises a turbine unit(10), a water supply pump(30), a first boiler(40), a second boiler(50), a main control valve(60), an intercept valve(70), and a control unit(80). The main control valve is installed in first and fifth pipelines and controls the supply. The fifth pipeline supplies main steam supplied through the third pipeline to a high pressure steam turbine. The intercept valve is installed in second and sixth pipelines and controls the supply. The sixth pipeline supplies reheat steam supplied through a fourth pipeline to a middle pressure steam turbine.
