PURPOSE: An apparatus of improving riding comfort for an electric vehicle with in-wheel motors is provided to reduce up-down vibration of the vehicle body during traveling by using independent braking or driving control characteristic of the in-wheel motors to respective wheel.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus of improving riding comfort for an electric vehicle with in-wheel motors comprises a suspension device which reduces the motion of the vehicle body in the vertical direction. A driving or braking force of a wheel generated by friction between the wheel and road surface is applied to the vehicle body as a component force obstructing the vertical motion of the vehicle body, amounting to the angle between the virtual link of the suspension device and the road surface, thereby changing the load of a spring in the suspension device to extend or contract the spring.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
