PURPOSE: A learning system providing an interactive participation type class of a lecturer and learners using a smart terminal in a classroom environment and an operation method thereof are provided to synchronize a lecturer terminal and a learner terminal, thereby implementing real time feedback during class. CONSTITUTION: A database(130) records learning contents. A learning module for a lecturer terminal(111) obtains the learning contents from the database. The learning module for the lecturer terminal provides the learning contents to a lecturer(112). The learning module for the lecturer terminal synchronizes a plurality of learner terminals(120) and the learning contents. Learning modules for learner terminals(121) provide the synchronized learning contents.
