PURPOSE: A remote control system for an automatic welding and a method thereof are provided to imitatively move a robot along the delicate motion of a worker, thereby implementing a precise work at an initial point or terminal point in the welding, thus improving the productivity and quality of the welding.;CONSTITUTION: A remote control system for an automatic welding comprises a remote control transmitting part(100), an equipment receiving part(200), and an automatic welding device(300). An equipment receiving part(200) includes a wireless communication receiving part(210), an equipment controlling part(220), and a communication converting part(230). The equipment controlling part(220) generates an operation controlling signal for an automatic welding based on motion pattern information which is outputted from the wireless communication receiving part(210). The communication converting part(210) transfers the operation controlling signal, which is provided from the equipment controlling part(220), to a higher level. The automatic welding device(300) is set as the higher level of the communication converting part(210). A motor is embedded in the automatic welding device(300).
