PURPOSE: A slag deoxidation method for producing ultra low carbon steel is provided to produce molten steel for ultra low carbon steel by minimizing a deoxidation reaction.;CONSTITUTION: A slag deoxidation method for producing ultra low carbon steel is as follows. Molten steel is put into a ladle(S10). Inactive gas is jet into the molten steel through a lance of the ladle to improve the fluidity of a slag layer coagulating on the top of the molten steel(S20). The jetting of the inactive gas is stopped(S30).
