PURPOSE: A methane gas generation activating apparatus for landfill and a method for the same are provided to maximize the amount of methane gas by rapidly decomposing waste using anaerobic microorganisms.;CONSTITUTION: A methane gas generation activating apparatus for landfill includes a waste stacking part(20), a covering soil layer(40), a gas exhausting pipe(50), and a heat exchanging pipe(100). The covering soil layer is paved on the upper part of the waste stacking part. The gas exhausting pipe is inserted into the covering soil layer and the waste stacking part. The heat exchanging pipe is buried in the waste stacking part in order for heat exchanges to circulate throughout the waste stacking part. The heat exchanging pipe surrounds the gas exhausting pipe.
