RFID READER FOR A RFID SERVICE AND A RFID SERVICE METHOD THEREOF CAPABLE OF USING A CONTENT NAME FIELD CORRESPONDING TO A UII

PURPOSE: A RFID(Radio Frequency ID) reader for a RFID service and a RFID service method thereof are provided to ease the identification of an item with a RFID tag by including an identification data stored in the RFID tag in the content name information.;CONSTITUTION: A tag reader unit(210) receives a response signal including a content name field from an RFID tag(100). The content name field corresponds to a UII(Unique Item ID) which is an item identification data for an item with the RFID tag. A reader control unit(230) recognizes the content name field from the response signal. The content name field is stored in a user memory of the RFID tag and the position information on the user memory corresponding to the content name field is stored in a TID(Tag ID) memory of the RFID tag.
