摘要

PURPOSE: A seismic retrofit method of Reinforced Concrete(RC) with an enlarged section using connection joint with anchor plate and steel bar tie is provided to effectively resist an earthquake for buildings by improving the load bearing capacity of the existing reinforced structures.;CONSTITUTION: A seismic retrofit method of RC with an enlarged section using connection joint with anchor plate and steel bar comprises an anchor plate(100), a plurality of fixing hardware(210), a plurality of first connecting bars(500), a steel wedge(600), a plurality of second connecting bars(700), and a main reinforcing bar(800). The anchor plate is installed to the front surface of a concrete structure(50) and comprises a plurality of anchor through holes in the longitudinal direction. The fixing hardware is installed along the surface of an anchor plate and forms an ∩-shaped loop. The first connecting bar is a U-shaped steel and is installed along the surface of the concrete structure at regular intervals to intersect with a fixing hardware. The steel wedge passes the intersection of fixing and first connecting bar and parallelly positioned to the installation area in the longitudinal direction. The second connecting bar is an ∩-shaped steel and forms a □-shaped hoop bar with the first connecting bar. The main reinforcing bar arranges bars to cross the hoop bar.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
