PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for developing a high resolution solar meteorological resource are provided to be used for energy development study and climate data treatment. CONSTITUTION: A method for developing a high resolution solar meteorological resource comprises: a step of generating lattice with a predetermined length on a selected region on the map and setting a resolution corresponding to the size of the lattice; a step of converting an albedo of the resolution corresponding to the size of the lattice; a step of converting a weather data to the resolution corresponding to the size of the lattice; a step of calculating the amount of solar radiation by using the albedo and the weather data; a step of accumulating the amount of solar radiation; and a step of generating the high resolution solar meteorological resource map.
