ACID GAS RETRIEVING APPARATUS ALLOWING A COOLER TO BE INSTALLED AT THE LOWER EXTERIOR OF AN ABSORPTION TOWER AND ENABLING A PARTIAL LIQUID ABSORBENT STAYING IN THE ABSORPTION TOWER TO PASS THROUGH THE COOLER AND TO BE RESUPPLIED TO THE ABSORPTION TOWER, THEREBY COOLING THE ABSORBENT, AND A METHOD THEREOF
ACID GAS RETRIEVING APPARATUS ALLOWING A COOLER TO BE INSTALLED AT THE LOWER EXTERIOR OF AN ABSORPTION TOWER AND ENABLING A PARTIAL LIQUID ABSORBENT STAYING IN THE ABSORPTION TOWER TO PASS THROUGH THE COOLER AND TO BE RESUPPLIED TO THE ABSORPTION TOWER, THEREBY COOLING THE ABSORBENT, AND A METHOD THEREOF
PURPOSE: Acid gas retrieving apparatus and method are provided to significantly improve the economic efficiency of an overall acid gas processing process by replacing a gas cooling tower method, where the operation cost is high, with absorbent-coolant cooling through a partial absorbent cooling line and eliminating the need of installing a separate cooling tower, thereby considerably reducing the investment cost and required area of the process, and the operation cost for the operation of a cooling tower.;CONSTITUTION: Acid gas retrieving apparatus includes an absorption tower(3) and a separation tower(7). Mixed gases containing acid gas are put into the absorption tower, and the acid gas is absorbed into an absorbent in the absorption tower. The separation tower separates the acid gas from the absorbent into which the acid gas was absorbed. A cooler(15) is installed at the lower exterior of the absorption tower, and cools down a liquid absorbent drawn out of the absorption tower through an absorbent pipe line. A recirculation line recirculating a regenerated absorbent, separated from the acid gas in the separation tower, to the absorption tower is additionally included. A cooling tower is not separately installed before the mixed gases are put into the lower part of the absorption tower. The absorbent is at least one selected from a group composed of amine, amino acid salts, an inorganic salts solution, and an ammonia solution. The acid gas is at least one selected from a group composed of carbon dioxide(CO2), hydrogen sulfide(H2S), sulfur dioxide(SO2), nitrogen dioxide(NO2), and carbonyl sulfide(COS).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
