PURPOSE: A hand rail device for preventing pirates from invading a vessel and a pirate prevention method using the same are provided to eject pirates without killing and to reduce manufacturing costs of a pirate prevention facility.;CONSTITUTION: A hand rail device for preventing pirates from invading a vessel comprises a hand rail(1), a pirate embarkation interruption unit(2), and a support unit(3). The pirate embarkation interruption unit is installed on the hand rail and penetrates from a wall surface of a vessel body to the outside. The pirate embarkation interruption unit comprises a steam flow unit(4). The support unit is installed between the hand rail and the pirate embarkation interruption unit and supports the pirate embarkation interruption unit. The pirate embarkation interruption unit is spread in a pirate appearing region.
