PURPOSE: A system for managing a set of harbor logistics information with a business process management system (BPMS) and a method are provided to apply the separate BPMS for managing a harbor logistics work process to the system, thereby allowing the BPMS to manage the flow of the harbor logistics work process. CONSTITUTION: A client terminal (110) converts a set of event information for performing harbor logistics work into a message and transmits the message. A harbor information providing server (120) includes harbor logistics work logic in order to correspond to the message request of the client terminal. A BPMS (130) executes an activity for a work process about the harbor logistics work logic of the harbor information providing server and processes the work according to the message request of the client terminal.
