PURPOSE: A micro-crack inspecting method based on an anisotropic diffusion model using an extensible kernel is provided to excellently detect micro-cracks even though the inspection is repeated little.;CONSTITUTION: A micro-crack inspecting method based on an anisotropic diffusion model using an extensible kernel includes the following steps of: obtaining source images of a target object via machine vision (S1); calculating a basic inclination of a preset basic kernel (S3); calculating an expanded inclination of an expanded kernel of which size is expanded in comparison with the basic kernel (S4); comparing the basic inclination and the expanded inclination and calculating a diffusion coefficient according to the result of the comparison (S5-S8); obtaining diffusion images (S9); and confirming micro-cracks after subtracting the diffusion images from the source images (S10-S11).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013;[Reference numerals] (AA) Start; (BB) Finish; (S1) Acquire source images; (S10) Source image-diffusion image; (S11) Confirm micro-cracks; (S2) Remove finger patterns; (S3) Calculate a basic inclination of a basic kernel; (S4) Calculate an expanded inclination of an expanded kernel; (S5) Basic inclination = expanded inclination?; (S6) Inclination=basic inclination; (S7) Inclination=expanded inclination; (S8) Calculate a diffusion coefficient; (S9) Acquire the diffusion images
