PURPOSE: A biofeedback exercise device and a control method thereof are provided to induce a patient to exercise and to allow the patient to precisely and repetitively exercise his or her shoulder joints. CONSTITUTION: A biofeedback exercise device comprises a driving unit (10), a control unit (20), and a monitoring unit (30). The driving unit is operated by a motor and processes electromyogram signals. The control unit sets a mode and controls the threshold, speed, and repetitive number of electromyogram. The monitoring unit monitors the control value of the control unit. The driving unit includes an electromyogram module for processing electromyogram signals and a driving module including a motor of which speed is controlled by electromyogram signals.
