PURPOSE: A communication device for a network using a distributed interference alignment technique and a distributed interference alignment method are provided to reduce the number of repetitive transmission of channel information for distributed interference alignment without degrading a sum rate by stopping repetitive transmission in a period when a sum rate is optimized. CONSTITUTION: A reception unit(910) receives a signal including channel information from a plurality of transmission devices. A calculation unit(920) forms an interference suppression matrix minimizing the interference of a signal. The calculation unit calculates the formed interference suppression matrix in the signal. A determining unit(930) determines whether the interference alignment of the signal is stopped or not based on interference signal power and sum rate of the signal calculated by the interference suppression matrix.
