Effective experiment method for large width model ship test in large cavitation tunnel

PURPOSE: A method for effectively testing a double width model ship within a large cavitation tunnel is provided to lower a solid blockage less than 10% when testing a double width model ship within a large cavitaion tunnel and to obtain a reasonable simulation level for simulating cavitiation. CONSTITUTION: A method for effectively testing a double width model ship within a large cavitation tunnel is as follows. A half-width model ship(17) is manufactured by being divided in half to a width direction. The half-width model ship is composed of a central surface outer panel(18) in one side and a lateral surface outer panel(19) in the other side. A fixing unit(20) is installed in a trunk and holds. A medium(25) is installed in the half-width model ship. The half-width model ship is fixed to the inside of a test unit by joining the medium and fixing unit. A plurality of the fixing units is installed by being spaced at a predetermined distance in the longitudinal direction of the trunk.
