PURPOSE: A safety device of recognizing the rear side of a vehicle is provided to prevent the vehicle from crashing to a rear object by compulsively controlling a brake and an accelerator when the vehicle comes close to the rear object.;CONSTITUTION: A safety device of recognizing the rear side of a vehicle comprises a control unit(30), an ultrasonic distance senor(40), an accelerator pedal module(50), and a side brake module(60). The ultrasonic distance senor is individually separated into two-four parts at the rear direction of the vehicle, and measures the distance from the vehicle from a rear object using ultrasonic waves.
