PURPOSE: An intake noise reduction device is provided to continuously supply fresh air to a working field and the inside of a tunnel by reducing intake noise generated in the operation of a blower.;CONSTITUTION: An intake noise reduction device comprises a central cylindrical duct(3), a front cylindrical duct(4), and a rear cylindrical duct(5). A silencer tube(6) is connected to the front end of the front cylindrical duct. The silencer tube is formed into a triple pipe structure of a small cylinder(6a), an intermediate cylinder(6b), and a large cylinder(6c). The small cylinder is composed of an inner cylinder surrounding a sound absorbing material and an outer cylinder of a punched steel plate. A silencer cover is installed in the front end of the silencer tube while surrounding the front end of the silencer tube.
