PURPOSE: A device for determining a situation recognition position of a screen object when a program is developed and a method thereof are provided to recognize a situation which considers information of a parent object, thereby determining a position of a child object which is put on the parent object. CONSTITUTION: A parent object generation unit (210) generates a parent object including first object position information. A first child object generation unit (220) generates a first child object including second object position information corresponding to a first position determination rule which is calculated by using the first object position information. The first child object is located on the parent object. A second child object generation unit (230) generates a second child object including third object position information corresponding to a second position determination rule which is calculated by using the second object position information. The second child object is located on the parent object. The first position determination rule generates the second object position information which is the same as the first object position information.
