PURPOSE: A location log based individualized travel destination contents search method of a mobile terminal and a travel destination contents search system performing thereof are provided to use a travel destination search word which is automatically generated from the location log without inputting a search word indicating the travel destination or the explicit information, thereby providing a recommendation list of the optimized travel destination contents related to the travel destination. CONSTITUTION: A recording mean records the location information or the location log of a mobile terminal. A travel destination search word database (22) stores the travel destination search words indicating the travel destination. A travel destination search word extracting unit (21) automatically extracts the travel destination search word corresponding to the location information or location log among the travel destination search words. The travel destination search word is automatically indicated on a search area of a display unit of the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal, as a mean recording the location information or location log, includes a global positioning system (GPS) module (111) and a log file (112) in which the location log is recorded.
