PURPOSE: A brick coated with photocatalyst responding to ultraviolet rays and visible light and a preparing method thereof are provided to improve photocatalytic ability in a region of not only ultraviolet rays but also visible light by impregnating a clay brick with photocatalytic coating liquid. CONSTITUTION: A brick coated with photocatalyst responding to ultraviolet rays and visible light is prepared by heat-drying after impregnating a molded brick with photocatalytic coating liquid consisting of Sr(Ti_1-xV_x)O_3-y, Sr(Ti_1-xW_x)O_3-y and anatase-type coating titanium dioxide to show photocatalytic ability in a region of ultraviolet rays and visible light. In the chemical formulas, x is between 0.0 and 0.3, and y is between 0.0 and 0.5. A preparing method of the brick coated with photocatalyst responding to ultraviolet rays and visible light comprises the steps of: forming photocatalytic coating liquid which includes perovskite compounds such as Sr(Ti_1-xVx)O_3-y dispersion liquid, Sr(Ti_1-xWx)O_3-y dispersion liquid, and anatase-type titanium dioxide dispersion liquid; impregnating or coating the molded brick with the photocatalytic coating liquid; and forming a brick by heat-drying the molded brick impregnated or coated with the photocatalytic coating liquid.
