PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a hydrogen ion conductive polymer electrolyte membrane is provided to impart physical and chemical stabilities, to obtain high ion conductivity, low fuel transmittance, low dehydration, and low gas transmittance, and to reduce manufacturing cost and time. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a hydrogen ion conductive polymer electrolyte membrane comprises: a step of obtaining a styrene sulfonic acid group-containing monomer-grafted halogen-based copolymer; a step of obtaining polymer solution comprising the halogen-based copolymer and an inorganic ion conductor; a step of conducting sol-gel reaction, by adding water, ethanol, and hydrochloric acid into the polymer solution; a step of casting the solution by an electrolyte membrane; a step of oxidizing the electrolyte membrane in hydroperoxide solution; and a step of substituting sodium ions to hydrogen ions by soaking the oxidized electrolyte membrane into sulfuric acid solution.
