PURPOSE: A method to manufacture eco-friendly mats for childcare centers and an eco-friendly mat are provided to prevent harmful substances from discharging even if the eco-friendly mat is used in a long-term usage by discharging contaminants in which can remain in a manufacturing process by a multi-staged heating process. CONSTITUTION: A method to manufacture eco-friendly mats for childcare centers comprises the following steps: heating a thermoplastic polyurethane pellet and molding the same in a film type (S100); weaving a polyester yarn and manufacturing floor paper; laminating the floor paper by using eco-friendly adhesive on a polyurethane film (S300); and performing heating/pressurizing processes and an additional heating process (S400). The eco-friendly adhesive is made from EVA. The heating/pressurizing processes are performed at 70-90C and a pressure of 80-100 kg/m^2 for 10-14 hours. The additional heating process is processed in a temperature of 70-90C.
