PURPOSE: A sterilization cleaning apparatus for a water purifier, and a water purifier including the same are provided to be able to supply clean water by sterilizing and removing various pathogenic bacteria or fungi inhabiting the inside of the water purifier with chlorine in tap water. CONSTITUTION: A sterilization cleaning apparatus for a water purifier is installed in a water purifier (100) which comprises a filter part (102) which filters tap water supplied through a tap water pipeline while the tap water passes in the state of being connected to the tap water pipeline; a water storage which receives water having passed through the filter part through a water pipe, and accommodates the water; a water supply pipe which is connected to the water storage and supplies water in the water storage to a necessary place; and a drainage which discharges unused water among the water supplied through the water supply pipe to a drain pipe. The sterilization cleaning apparatus for a water purifier comprises a tap water supply part which operates in the state that the water supply pipe is blocked, and supplies tap water supplied through the tap water pipeline to the water storage in the state that the chlorine component included in tap water is not removed so that chlorine sterilizes the inside of the water storage; a sterilizing water exhausting part which is equipped between the water storage and the drain pipe, and induces and discharges the water having sterilized the inside of the water storage.
