PRESTRESSED PRECAST SEGMENT STONE RAINBOW BRIDGE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD

The present invention relates to a construction method of an arched bridge using prestressed precast segments. The construction method of the arched bridge is as follows. Multiple stone standard blocks for forming a semicircular arched rib are processed in a trapezoidal section to engage with each other. Longitudinal PC wires are installed on neutral axis positions. Segments are manufactured by assembling the stone standard blocks on the concrete on an assembling place in an arched shape, tensing PC wires installed on the neutral axis, and integrating the assembled stone standard blocks with the tensed PC wires. The manufactured stone arched rib segments are vertically positioned using a crane. The arched rib is completed by successively hoisting and placing the stone arched rib segments on a primary concrete placing portion on a pier. Conditions for restricting the horizontal displacement of both sides of the arched bridge are formed by placing secondary concrete on the pier. The PC wires for controlling displacement are removed. The stone block wall is formed by successively piling up the stone blocks on the edges of the top and bottom sides of the stone arched rib segments to fill the top ends of the stone arched rib segments. The inner side of the stone block wall is filled with concrete. Bottom stone blocks, railing foundation stones, railing columns, railing bars, and newel posts are installed in the stone block wall. Accordingly, an antique and beautiful bridge, such as a traditional stone arched bridge, can be created.
