FIELD: radio engineering, communication.;SUBSTANCE: two communication subsystems are used, which make up a single system of communication of a manned base on the Mars surface (MBM): the system of MBM manifold communication with Earth (MCS), having high throughput capacity, and the satellite communication subsystem (SCS), including two satellites-retransmitters on stationary orbits of Mars (MSR), selected so that they both are capable of radio communication with Earth and are visible from the MBM area, and a retransmitting station, located on the territory of MBM in the common area of visibility of both MSRs, via antennas of which communication is executed via MSRs with Earth during the second half of Mars rotation around its axis, when MCS antennas are not capable of radio communication with Earth. Both subsystems communicate with Earth in turns within a half-period of Mars rotation each.;EFFECT: establishment of continuous radio communication of a manned base on Mars surface with Earth and control of MBM equipment.;3 cl, 2 dwg
