TUYERE FOR BOTTOM METAL BLOWING WITH GASES IN LADLE, AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

FIELD: metallurgy.;SUBSTANCE: tuyere includes a metal cone sleeve with a bottom and a gas supply tube, which is filled with refractory mixture, in which longitudinal through slot channels are made and a wear indicator is located, which is provided on its outer surface with ring-shaped grooves filled with refractory mixture. Wear indicator is step-by-step cylindrical. Wear indicator attachment and fixation element is made in the form of wire antennae fixed in its ring-shaped grooves and located in relation to each other in 120°. The method involves fixation of metal conical sleeve on a mandrel, attachment to the wear indicator of three wire antennae and installation of the wear indicator in the metal sleeve by means of a collet mechanism with a stop and antennae. Then, refractory concrete mass is poured from bottom side of the sleeve, and the collect mechanism with the stop is removed after its vibratory compaction.;EFFECT: improving tuyere operating reliability; simplifying the tuyere design and its assembly process.;2 cl, 2 dwg
