FIELD: metallurgy.;SUBSTANCE: unit for heat treatment of a variety of bent surgical needles, which contains a conveyer for transfer of the variety of bent surgical needles from a source of bent surgical needles to a receiver, a housing located near that conveyor, where the same housing has the first end, the second end and a hole from the first end to the second end, where the same hole is aligned relative to the same conveyor, thus allowing the variety of bent surgical needles to pass through it, and a heat source located inside the same housing, for heating of the variety of bent surgical needles, when the variety of bent surgical needles is transferred with the conveyor from the first end of the housing to the second end of the housing.;EFFECT: increasing stiffness and plastic bending moment of bent surgical needles, which allows surgical needles treated in this way to have the desired combination of stiffness, strength and viscosity.;22 cl, 10 dwg, 4 ex
