METHOD FOR CHOOSING ANTIBIOTIC IN TREATING INFECTIOUS-INFLAMMATORY DISEASES

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: spontaneous and antibiotic-modified lucigenin-dependent chemoluminescence of the patient's whole blood is measured. That is followed by calculating an antibiotic modification coefficient (AMC) representing the relation of an area difference under the antibiotic chemiluminescence curve (Bant.) and under the spontaneous chemiluminescence curve (Ssp.) to the area under the spontaneous chemiluminescence curve (Ssp.) expressed as a percentage. Treating the infectious-inflammatory diseases is ensured by choosing the antibiotics that have positive or negative AMC less than 10% in modulus. The optimal antibiotic is that having the AMC closest or equal to 0 in modulus. If the positive and negative AMCs of the antibiotics in modulus concur, the antibiotic with the positive value is preferential.;EFFECT: using this method allows the optimal choice of the antibiotics in treating the infectious-inflammatory diseases based on the individual patients' immunological characteristics.;2 ex
