The method involves using frequency spreading in electric circuit (1) to obtain frequency-spread electrical change signal and exposing the test material to an electromagnetic alternating field, which is produced by the frequency-spread change signal. The electrical measured variable of electric signal measured at measuring cell (2) such as capacitive measuring cell is detected. An independent claim is included for electric circuit for electrical investigation of test material.
