The ensemble (1) has a rope clamp (2) provided with a deflection roller for slidingly fixing a body of a user at a rope (4). Another rope clamp (3) is provided with a deflection roller (31) for slidingly fastening at the rope above position of the former rope clamp. An end of the rope is attached at the latter rope clamp or one of the deflection rollers and inserted into the deflection rollers of the rope clamps. The rope and rope clamps together form a pulley-block. Another end of the rope hangs freely and operates the pulley-block. The rope clamps are made of stainless steel or aluminum. The rope clamps are designed as climbing clamps.
