The device has a base body, a clamp body and a clamp strap securing and/or adjusting an optoelectronic sensor (1) i.e. lighting grid (36), at an assembly body. The clamp strap is annularly formed for receiving a fastening section and two sections, where one of the sections is connected with the base body and the other section is connected with the clamp body. A fastening unit presses the clamp body at the base body, where the clamp strap force-fittingly spans the fastening section. The base body and the clamp body are identically formed from die-cast zinc.
