Method for cooking e.g. poultry product in cooking appliance, involves terminating cooking process only at end cooking time, if actual cooking degree value corresponds to target cooking degree value before reaching end cooking time
The method involves automatically adjusting food treatment device of cooking appliance based on the type of food or cooking process selected to cook a food with respect to target and actual cooking degree values. The cooking process is terminated only at stored end cooking time, if the actual cooking degree value corresponds to target cooking degree value before reaching end cooking time. The cooking process is completed if actual cooking degree value is equal to cooking degree value, where target cooking degree value is equal to nominal value of stored procedure. The method involves automatically setting a target cooking degree value at end of cooking of selected food according to the selected type of food or cooking process. An actual cooking degree value of food is detected by a cooking probe. An independent claim is included for cooking appliance.
