The method involves transmitting data over data path that is provided for other data, where the latter data is highly prioritized than the former data. The former or latter data is transferred with a target address over the data path. The target address of the former or latter data is determined and compared with addresses of nodes (101-104). The former or latter data is stored, where the stored data is decoded by matching of the target address with the addresses of the nodes. The stored data is deleted or overwritten without matching of the target address with the addresses of the nodes. An independent claim is also included for a device for transmitting data in a network.
