The device has a protocol filter gateway for separating pressure flow data and technical device-related data from each other based on a used network protocol. The protocol filter gateway guides the technical device-related data into a separate network, which is logically independent of a local network and connected with an infrastructure for evaluating and further-processing the data. The protocol filter gateway includes a supplementary port forwarding function and an IEEE 802.1 Qinterface for connection in wireless local area networks.
