The method involves detecting a user input through an input device and generating an audio output signal in dependence of the user input. An actuator (21,22) is controlled, which provides a tactile output depending on the audio output signal.The audio output signal is compared with a predetermined threshold value, and the actuator is controlled in dependence on the comparison of the audio output signal with the predetermined threshold value. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a user interface with an audio output; and (2) a medical device with a magnetic resonance system.
