The piston (11) has a piston head (12) and a piston shaft. The piston shaft comprises piston hubs (17) that are provided with hub holes (18). The piston hubs are connected over running surfaces (19). The running surfaces are partially provided with a coating portion (30) that is squirted in the cold gas process. The material of coating portion is selected from nickel, iron, copper, nickel based alloys, aluminum based alloys, iron based alloys, cupro-nickel tin based alloys or copper tin silver based alloys. The coating portion is incorporated with the lubricant. An independent claim is included for tribological system of cylinder crankcase for combustion engine.
